Job Requisition ID #23WD67506Position OverviewThis is a Technical Program Manager position for the Platform team within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) organization. This team defines and builds the software platform that the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon. The mission of the group is to drive developer productivity, device independence and consistency. We are on a multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world with Fusion 360 by delivering un-precented value and converging workflows with cloud-based technology. We are rapidly combining many world-leading technologies and teams into the Fusion 360 family. The Technical Program Manager will help our Platform service teams deliver our User Experience Design (XD) vision with high transparency and efficiency by driving collaborative, cross-organizational, programs that enable scrum teams to manage their inter & intra-dependencies. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to solve problems with both curiosity and tenacity. They are strong communicators, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about helping teams be successful in identifying and achieving goals.ResponsibilitiesHands on, end-to-end, Program Management from design to deliveryLead programs focused on delivering technologies (e.g., toolkits) that enable a cohesive and consistent user experienceDrive alignment of cross-organizational initiatives through planning, dependency management and impediment removalEngage business stakeholders (e.g., Product Management, Go-to-Market, etc.) to maintain strategy, priority, and requirements alignmentUtilize technical acumen while facilitating discussions between technical stakeholders (e.g., XD, Engineering Leads, Product Owners, Architects, etc.)Work with technical stakeholders to build clear, agile, plansUncover, understand, and track platform dependencies and commitmentsProactively pursue delayed dependencies and escalate impactsDrive risk identification, analysis, and mitigation to address potential roadblocksAssist with the adoption of platform technologies, standards, and best practicesServe as communication focal point on complex programsHelp drive adoption of platform standards and technologiesEstablish and maintain processes to help teams operate with increased efficiency and accuracyCollaborate using tools such as Slack, Confluence, JIRA, and AirtableMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline, Computer Science or a related field5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Technical Product Manager, or Product Owner3+ years working on User Experience Design-centric programsExtensive experience working with business and technical on highly complex initiatives involving multiple software engineering teams, in a fast-paced environment, using Agile methodologiesGood technical background and aptitude, detailed driven and have excellent problem-solving abilitiesAbility to communicate effectively with a broad audienceZeal for process and operational excellenceAbility to leverage technical tools to scale programs and solutionsExperience with Jira and Confluence Desire to continue to learn and challenge yourselfAble to travel as required (less than 25%)Preferred QualificationsScrum Product Owner certificationLean Six Sigma Green or Black belt certificationThe Ideal CandidatePossesses solid technical expertise and business acumen, and the ability to impart a sense of urgency and influence your leaders and peersIs proactive in stakeholder management and establishing relationships with end-usersEnjoys operating as ’equal partners’ with Engineering Leaders, Architects, Product Managers, Experience Designers and Product OwnersIs responsive, flexible and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environmentClick below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $99,500 and $171,600. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
