Job Requisition ID #22WD66525Position overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Specialist to focus on Autodesk’s Construction Business within the Amman Inside Sales Hub. This role is to focus primarily on the Middle East Construction Business.The Inside Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for partnering with our Inside Sales Team on sales opportunities and campaigns to drive revenue growth. The Technical Specialist uses in-depth industry and software knowledge to both enable our inside sales teams and to uncover customer business issues and suggest improvements, thus earning status as a trusted advisor.The Technical Specialist provides remote demonstration of Autodesk Solutions to inform the customer so they can make a purchasing decision.ResponsibilitiesTakes ownership of technical sales opportunitiesInvestigates, uncovers and understands a customer’s business issuesProposes options for improvement or resolution of customer business issues and relates those solutions directly to the customer’ business goals/issuesPerforms analysis and leads discovery of adjacent opportunities within an accountMaintains and grows respected, trusted advisor relationships with customers and members of the Autodesk inside sales team involved with the opportunityEngages in strategic account planning with the inside sales representative throughout the sales processCommunicates product features and benefits in pre-sales situations. Presents Autodesk solutions to prospective customers in the form of remote presentationsDelivers assets such as PowerPoints, Videos, Datasets that can be used for marketing campaigns and sales opportunitiesDelivers webinars to support marketing campaigns for 1:many audiences.Coordinate with the wider Technical Sales Team to support sales opportunitiesProvides online reactive support to pre-sales questions from inside sales representativesWhere required, supports events to train Autodesk resellers or customers.Provides feedback and communicates market requirements to the Autodesk product development teamA Technical Specialist will become an expert in spreading the product message as a product evangelist. The TS will convey a positive message to accounts and individuals who are looking for a solution but may not know which product will fit their needs the bestA Technical Specialist will utilize social media to build their industry profile and drive awareness of Autodesk Minimum qualificationsTechnical knowledge of using one or more of the following applications: Revit, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Navisworks, 3ds Max, BIM 360 portfolioGood understanding of Building Information Modelling workflow processesGood understanding of Construction workflows, processes and terminologyMust be willing to become an expert in the use of Autodesk solutions for Building Information Modelling across multiple disciplinesDemonstrated ability to work in a team of technical, marketing and sales peopleDemonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Demonstrated ability to meet deadlinesDemonstrated initiative and ability to drive decisions and get closure on recommendations and issuesExcellent communication and presentation skillsExcellent group facilitation skillsAble to travel occasionally for group events primarily in Europe or U.S.Enjoys working with diverse groups of people in a multi-cultural environmentPrevious experience of technical sales desirable however we are willing to consider individuals from a non-sales backgroundEnergetic, dynamic and enthusiastic personalityFluent English and Arabic SpeakerPreferred Qualifications:Further Education Qualification or Degree related to Building Design or Construction Industry Experience.At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
