Job Requisition ID #23WD67749The Autodesk Fusion 360 Data and Process Management @ Autodesk which is a part of the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions Division is looking for an accomplished Software Development Manager to lead a team of experienced software engineers in fulfilling our vision of a unified data platform which will underpin the convergence of Design and Manufacturing by seamlessly connecting and automating workflows that support Customers’ business process. It will also allow a vibrant 3rd party ecosystem that can extend additional value to our customers. Position OverviewThis is an exciting time to join us on our multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world with Fusion 360 by delivering unprecedented value and converging workflows with cloud-based technology. We are rapidly combining many world-leading technologies and teams into the Fusion 360 family.As a Software Development Manager, you will have the opportunity to mentor and grow a team of talented engineers as they implement backend services or client facing aspects of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions & services, including Fusion Manage, Manage Extension for Fusion 360, and Upchain.As the ideal candidate, you have led teams in the delivery of modern cloud web services and have demonstrated deep, hands-on experience in driving execution plans that align with the vision. You are comfortable in an agile environment and know how to build a highly effective team. Most of all, you can inspire teams to do great things. ResponsibilitiesLead & guide teams of highly skilled software engineers working within a Scrum framework on high quality solutions in response to stakeholder requirementsManage the performance of your team by communicating clear organizational goals and removing the impedimentsInspire and motivate team members to improve productivity and foster creativity while maintaining healthy work-life balancePromote a culture of continuous improvement through ongoing feedback, coaching and tracking the performance. Support individual training and career developmentDrive both the software development process and the right technology decisions while also driving for appropriate Customer improvements and adjustmentsWork with Product Managers, Product Owners, Software Architects and key stakeholders to build release plans that deliver meaningful value to CustomersFoster collaborative relationships with other teams to accomplish holistic organizational goalsBe the spokesperson for the team and champion their accomplishments with upper management and adjacent teamsWork with a globally distributed team and with team members that are in a hybrid/remote work settingFoster a culture that promotes Autodesk values, inner-sourcing and just get stuff doneMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in a related technology domain3 years of experience leading tech leads and senior software engineersSolid understanding of all phases of software development lifecycle from analyzing the needs to delivery of working softwareWork with team to breakdown complex technical requirements into logical execution slicesSolid understanding of SoA and infrastructureExperienced in Agile software development practice and ceremoniesExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishComfortable working within a globally distributed team, and within a hybrid/remote working modelPreferred QualificationsStrong understanding of PLM customer needsDemonstrated experience in dealing with Customer incidentsExperience in managing complex dependencies and associated conflicts in delivery timelinesAbility to deal with ambiguity and keep execution teams productive#LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
