Job Requisition ID #23WD67518Position OverviewThis is a Program Manager position for the Platform team within the Product Design and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) organization. This team defines and builds the software platform that the Fusion 360 family of products is built upon. The mission of the group is to drive developer productivity, device independence and consistency. We are on a multi-year journey to disrupt the Design to Manufacture world with Fusion 360 by delivering un-precented value and converging workflows with cloud-based technology. We are rapidly combining many world-leading technologies and teams into the Fusion 360 family. The Program Manager will help our Platform teams deliver our vision with high transparency and efficiency by providing strong program leadership, elevating agility, and improving processes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, self-motivated, and eager to solve problems with both curiosity and tenacity. They will be a change agent that’s an effective communicator, comfortable with ambiguity, and passionate about helping teams identify and achieve their goals.ResponsibilitiesHands on, end-to-end, management of concurrently running programs that vary in maturity and complexityEffectively collaborate with cross-functional team members consisting of business (e.g., Product Managers) and technical stakeholders (e.g., Technical Program Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, etc.) to build clear, Agile, plans and establish milestonesProvide strong, tactful, oversight and support throughout the lifecycle to ensure teams are progressing towards milestone targetsProactively manage risks and inform stakeholders of potential impactsDrive adoption planning and execution activities for platform technologies, standards, and best practicesFacilitate program and project-level status meetingsRegularly and reliably communicate project progress to stakeholders within and outside of the program teamsLead events (e.g., Communities of Practice, Scrum of Scrums, demos and project retrospectives) that support cross-functional team effectivenessChampion agile practices (e.g., iterative planning, retrospectives, etc.) and improve inefficient processes using a flexible approach to establish optimal solutionsIdentify process gaps or inefficiencies and collaborate with stakeholders to implement improvements that will increase efficiency and accuracyAdminister project tools (e.g., Jira, Airtable, etc.), control workflows, and lead integrations with other projectsCollaborate using tools such as Slack, Confluence, etc.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or a related fieldIn lieu of a bachelor's degree, an associate degree in Business, Computer Science or a related field and 4-6 or more years of professional-level work experience managing software development programsExperience working with business and technical stakeholders on complex programs involving multiple software engineering teams, in a fast-paced environment, using Agile methodologiesDetailed driven with excellent problem-solving abilitiesEffective communication to broad audiencesZeal for process and operational excellenceAbility to leverage technical tools to scale programs and solutionsExperience with Jira and Confluence Desire to continue to learn and challenge yourselfAble to travel as required (less than 25%)The Ideal CandidatePossesses the technical expertise and business acumen required to influence your leaders and peersProactively establishes relationships with stakeholder and manages their expectationsEnjoys operating as ’equal partners’ with Product Managers, Technical Program Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Leaders, Architects, and Experience DesignersIs responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within an open collaborative peer environmentAgile Practitioner, Leadership or Coaching certification is a plusLean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification is a plusClick below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $61,400 and $105,820. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
