Job Requisition ID #23WD68902Position Overview Data and Process Management team is building a unified data platform and collaboration infrastructure for Fusion 360 ecosystem, a leading cloud-based product design and manufacturing solution. We are planning to add talented QA engineers to the team to help us deliver our products with great quality.As a QA Engineer within the Data & Process Management team, you would be working as part of Agile scrum teams to ensure we are delivering the highest quality capabilities and value to our customers. On a given day you could be participating in a sprint planning or review session or helping your sprint team deliver on quality objectives. You might be engaging directly with customers to help solve their problems or contributing towards advancing our automated CI/CD test pipeline. You might be defining the validation strategy for our data platform deliverables or collaborating with a colleague on the other side of the world. You will be a voice in the organization to champion quality.ResponsibilitiesPlay a key part in development of our cloud PLM solutions by keeping the high bar for quality standards which our customers expectCreate comprehensive test plans and detailed test casesExecute tests (exploratory, performance, smoke, regression testing), analyze results, and identify areas for improvementDocument, manage, and prioritize defects in collaboration with scrum team and Product SupportHelp the team evaluate risk, quality, and/or stability of products and servicesWork collaboratively in Agile environment, and frequently connect with colleagues from other teams dispersed globallyEnforce best QA practices throughout the software development cycleAssist in evaluation and use of testing tools and test frameworksMinimum Qualifications3-5 years of experience in software test engineeringA BS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical fieldPossess excellent verbal and written communication skillsThe ability to work both individually and in a teamKnowledge and experience designing tests, defining test scope and identifying functional and non-functional testing (e.g. performance, availability, stability, security, environment, etc.)The Ideal CandidateExcellent understanding of QA methodologiesKnowledge of BDD is a plusGenuine interest in agile and software development processesKnowledge of test management tools such as TestRail, xRay, JMeter, BlazeMeter Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management concepts is a plusFamiliarity with CAD tools such as SolidWorks, NX, Creo or CATIA is a plus #LI-MM1At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
