Job Requisition ID #23WD69178Position OverviewAutodesk is looking for a Senior Solution Architect to join our Autodesk Consulting Team in Customer Success Services Organization. The right person will add technical leadership to the implementation team to provide software design & architectural input. You will be responsible to create/package solutions and/or strategies which will help customers move to Autodesk cloud enabled technologies. You will work hands on with internal Autodesk stakeholders and external partners. You will build relationships with other organizations within Autodesk namely and not limited to, Engineering, Product Management and Industry Strategy in order to understand and influence customer/market needs in Architecture, Engineering , Construction and/or manufacturing space.ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and document requirements to produce repeatable solutions.Document architecture and implementation process to deploy solutions.Works closely with stakeholder’s  business and technical team to understand requirements, design and develop solutions using best practicesParticipates in code reviews to ensure new code conforms to highest standardsLeads and Mentor developers and 3rd party consultantsParticipates in large scale initiatives involving other teamsCreates Implementation Strategy White papers for customers in order to adopt Autodesk Cloud solutionsWorks with project managers and project sponsors to provide enterprise solutions to specific business problems and issues across many domainsCollaborates with the broader architecture community to ensure that their solutions align with target architectures and technology roadmapsPrepares and presents project documentation for the customer stakeholdersEvaluates design approaches, makes architectural recommendations, and implement improvements to adoption strategiesPresents “point of view” on implementation roadmap to multiple types of stakeholdersDevelops “reference architectures” and promote re-use in implementing Autodesk technologiesActs as “Advisor” to Autodesk partners and consultants to guide them to successMinimum QualificationsExperience working on large-scale, customer-facing, web and cloud applicationsStrong .NET skills. Our language of choice on the server side is .NETCandidate should have a deep understanding of object-oriented design and at least one modern backend frameworkCandidate has written clean, testable and effective codeCandidate have implemented applications in Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Google.Candidate has Architected solutions to integrate workflow from traditional desktop to cloud applicationsCandidate must have practical experience in creating data model for popular database platforms like Microsoft SQL Server , NOSQL databasesPractical experience building RESTful web servicesStrong hands-on experience in JavaScriptExperience with UI frameworks and libraries (e.g. React, AngularJS, BackboneJS, jQuery, etc.)Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar field12+ years of software engineering experience with a relevant Engineering degree or 10+ years with an advanced degreePreferred QualificationsStrong experience with Amazon Web Services OR AzureExperience in solutions in Architecture, Engineering and/or Construction IndustryKnowledge of or Certified in Architecture Assessment Methods like TOGAFDocument architecture using ArchiMate notational languagePresented and acted as “advisor” to stakeholders in past job historyExperience with Autodesk Technologies in AEC and/or Manufacturing IndustryPassionate for open source technologiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsLeadership experience as a Tech Lead, or Architect in previous rolesYou should apply even if you don’t feel that your credentials are a 100% match the position description - we are looking for relevant skills and attributes, not a checklist of experience that exactly matches the position itself .At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
