You will work on a cutting-edge CAD/CAM/CAE product, Fusion 360. Fusion CI/CD System is a critical and sophisticated engineering infrastructure and pipeline for Fusion 360 build, development, testing, and delivery. It is built and running on modern Cloud Computing Technology.We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about designing and developing high quality software solutions.  You will maintain and improve our development lifecycle tools and help us efficiently deliver the product to customers and enable the developers to be more productive.As a Senior Backend Software Engineer you will have a significant impact on how we design, build, and deliver our products to millions of professionals. You will work in a cross-functional team focused on building and maintaining backend services for various components of Autodesk Fusion 360. By creating software tools for making buildings, machines, and even the latest movies, we get to influence and empower some of the most creative people in the world to solve problems that matter.This job can be based remotely in various European countries.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement engineering solutions for reusable software components and APIs in Fusion 360 CI/CD systemDesign and develop scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain backend systemsParticipate in software design reviews, code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other development team members.Collaborate with other scrum teams located either in the US or in different offices around the world.Minimum Qualifications5 years+ Experience in backend system development (Python), with good knowledge of Django and FlaskExperience with Git and GitHub.MySQL, Docker, Redis, NginxExperience with database design and performance tuning; able to solve DB capacity/performance issues in the distributed systems.JS frameworks: Vue, React (2+ years)JavaScript, Typescript, Node.js (2+ years)Hands-on experience of using REST API/GraphQL with services (GitHub, Artifactory, Slack, Jenkins)Experience of building CI/CD pipelines for web applications (DevOps)Hands-on experience of Azure (VMSS, Azure functions, AKS, MySQL, CosmosDB, Redis, Azure Storge)Monitoring tools: Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, NewrelicPreferred QualificationsExperience in C/C++, QT, and cross-platform developmentExposure to large-scale software build, integration, and testing environments (C++ based preferred)Experience with CI/CD based on Jenkins pipelines (Groovy scripting, PSL) and Git (GitHub)Experience in DevOps and Cloud platforms like AWS, AzureAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
