You will work within an inclusive culture that offers competitive and equitable salaries, generous benefits, exciting career growth opportunities and work-life balance.Location: Please note this role is remote in Mexico.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with architects and technical product managers to design and architect secure, scalable, and maintainable front-end applicationsResearch and analyze existing architecture and back-end code to make enhancements or resolve defects and performance issuesDevelop technical standards and high-quality code following unit testing and test-driven developmentDesign, code, test, debug, and document software, and enhance existing components to ensure that software meets business needsEngage in an on-call rotation to support production systems​Apply technical expertise to propose solutions for challenging programming and design problems in a distributed environmentSelf-starter, passionate about learning new technologies and solving business problemsParticipate in software design reviews, you conduct peer code reviews, and provide input and feedback to other members of the development teamCoach and mentor less experienced developersMinimum Qualifications5+ years of experience as a software developer or related fieldProduction experience in building scalable front-end systems design and large-scale cloud-based Infrastructure technologies (AWS preferred)Extensive experience with HTML5, CSS and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap), JavaScript and frameworks (Node.js, Express.js, Angular, jQuery, Chai, Mocha)Experience with Java and scripting languages (e.g., Python, TypeScript, Shell scripting)Extensive experience consuming and implementing REST APIsExperience with PL/SQL and databases such as MarkLogic, Oracle, Redis and MySQLKnowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations (Karma and Jenkins preferred)Experience using Docker to build containerized applicationsAbility to understand problems, think critically, and devise solutionsAnalytic, curious and perseverant when facing challengesStrong technical communication and experience working with technical customersExperience with Agile software development practicesPreferred QualificationsExperience with load testing frameworks such as JMeter, Locust or BlazeMeterExperience with Swagger is a plusAutodesk products knowledge/experienceAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
