Job Requisition ID #23WD69386Position OverviewThe Workplace Manager will maintain site to meet high company standards for organization, cleanliness, aesthetics, and sustainable operations. Proactively coordinates some day-to-day facilities operations, working directly with on-site administrative support and/or property management groups. Serves as liaison for any building maintenance needs.ResponsibilitiesProactively initiates regular contact, develops, and maintains positive working relationships with site leader & department managers to understand their needs and takes appropriate actions to resolve issuesMust be able to understand and balance the needs of each department with overall site needsDevelops and maintains positive working relationships with landlord and/or property management and external service vendorsMaintains knowledge of building management's policies and procedures manual and maintains building specific filesMay manage or supervise other employeesEstablishes and manages facilities budget and is responsible for reporting financial informationTalk regularly with department managers and executive admins to understand needs and act to resolve issues that may ariseOversees building vendors, including janitorial, day porter, and maintenance staffProvides technical assistance with audio visual presentations and manages maintenance and calibration of such systemsManages service request tickets within BIM 360 Ops for service, repairs & maintenance, determining the nature of the problem(s) and either completing the request or recommending appropriate solutions to customers in a timely mannerPerforms ongoing facilities maintenance inspections of public and common areas by conducting "walk-throughs" of site to ensure compliance with local health and safety regulationsModels company safety policies and participates in Emergency Response Team effortsManages and responds to shipping and receiving deliveriesMonitors employee and visitor flow in and out of buildingEnsures that unauthorized individuals are not granted access to office suiteEnsures that employees are using proper access badgesAlerts Facilities, Building and Security staff of any disturbances or potentially dangerous situationsMay be trained on security & alarm systems and provide first level responseModel company safety policies and participate in Emergency Response Team efforts. Act as Incident CommanderMaintains professional appearance of reception area, conference rooms, kitchens and employee meeting areas. Manages Green Cleaning program through vendor relationshipPerforms set-ups and teardowns of multi-purpose, conference, and training rooms as neededMay provide substitution at reception for lunches, vacation, and any other absences etc.Maintains current knowledge base of Company products and information by reading Company news, announcements, and product brochuresExpectation to be available on-call afterhours and on weekends for emergency maintenance issuesResponsible for communicating to site occupants regarding facilities issues, news, and/or updatesPerform other duties as required and communicated by Manager Minimum QualificationsMinimum 5-7 years of experience in facilities or building management fieldsMinimum of 3 years supervision/management experienceExperience with vendor management and the implementation of the corporate safety programAbility to self-manage and effectively manage workloadExperience with computerized maintenance management systems, subcontract management, life safety management skills, energy management and the development of standardized operating procedures are a plusExcellent oral and written skills and proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications is requiredCustomer service oriented - pleasant, friendly, cheerful, energetic, ambitious, courteous and professional demeanorAbility to lift up to 50 poundsExperience with sustainable building operations a plusTechnical experience with building control systems, environmental systems and audio/visual preferredThe Ideal CandidateDemonstrates the ability to develop and maintain high level working relationships with site leader, managers, co-workers, and vendorsHas facilities operations experience within a high technology office environmentHas the ability to be self-motivated, take direction as required, and effectively meet deadlines and manage workloadHas proven administrative skills in an office environment including organization and record maintenanceIs proficient with basic tools, light handy work, building maintenance, facilities inspections, and hands on with furniture setup for events#LI-RB1Click below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $66,600 and $107,800. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
