As a Software QA Engineer you will be working as part of an Agile scrum team on Fusion Team product family. In your role, you will be working on designing and developing automatic tests on new or existing software and analyzing test results to ensure delivery of high-quality software. You will drive initiatives related to improving the quality, stability, reliability, and usability of high-quality software deliverables and deliver top quality Web and Cloud software.Responsibilities Help the team evaluate risk, quality, and stability of deliverablesBe responsible for Backend E2E Automation of feature developed within the Scrum teamBe responsible for Defining QA Strategy for the team and establish release management practise(s) for the scrum teamBe responsible for promoting best QA practices in the scrum teamWork closely with product design and product management to understand requirements and translate them to test plans for functional and regression testingPassionate about writing assertions that match business acceptance criteria’s, what goes in which stack of testing pyramid, maintaining stability of automation, and attacking flakiness, etc. Drive automation coverage, identify improvement opportunities in the scrum team and establish good tools & practises to achieve the same Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience5+ Years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test or Software QA EngineerExperience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, Python etc. Experience with any one of popular BDD Methodologies and frameworks/tools like Cucumber, JBehave, Rest Assured, Karate etc. Experience with various tools for performance testing of Rest API’s such as JMeter, etc.Experience with Jira, Jenkins, and GITSolid hands-on experience with testing backend applicationsExperience working with scalable, high-quality cloud servicesStrong in trouble shooting skills and meticulous attention to detailSolid familiarity with Agile development processes (Scrum framework) and QA methodologiesExcellent communication and written skills Preferred QualificationsUnderstand of Frontend automation framework like Cypress, Protractor, Selenium, etc.Exposure to other automation frameworks like Robot Framework, Puppeteer, etc.Exposure to quick scripting in postman to test Rest API’sHave some exposure to CI Tools like Jenkins, etc. Exposure to testing cloud infrastructure based on AWSExperience in Data Management Cloud service(s)#LI-MM1At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
