Job Requisition ID #23WD68853Position Overview We’re seeking an accomplished and highly motivated full stack engineer who will work as part of a cross functional agile team. Our team is focused on building the next generation of Autodesk Insight Tech Preview cloud service that empowers architects and engineers to design more energy-efficient buildings with advanced simulation engines and building performance analysis data integrated in Autodesk Revit. Your role will be to drive the frontend and backend of the next generation service by working closely with the product owner, experience designer, and other engineers. You will develop and maintain this new secure, scalable, available and performant service. You will be actively engaged in code reviews. You will also have the opportunity to improve the Autodesk shared UI components library.ResponsibilitiesDevelop high quality, secure and stable code that is covered by unit testsContribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needsConduct research and make recommendations on tools, services, and standards to use for engineering effortsDocument and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughlyCoordinate change deployment and release testing effortWork closely with customers to support production services in an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidentsEnthusiasm to mentor teammates, learn from others and actively engage in various agile team meetingMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experienceRelevant experience building large scale web applications2+ years of relevant experience in Web Development with C# (.NET Core) and ReactAdvanced understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, S.O.L.I.D principles and design patternsDemonstrable understanding of typical web application architecture (data, application, web tiers etc.)Experience with fundamental web technologies - HTML5, CSS & JavaScript with a solid understanding of the underlying principlesUnderstanding of the development APIs with HTTP, REST, and JSON, as well as their testing and deploymentExperience of creating secure and scalable web services with a solid understanding of the foundational communication protocols usedExperience with GitExperience of security best practices for a modern cloud serviceExperience of Amazon Web Services or other cloud infrastructure technologies Comfortable with working in Linux and Windows environmentSelf-motivated, autonomous, empathetic and great communication skillPreferred QualificationsWorking experience with TypeScriptExperience of CI/CD concepts and working with a deployment pipelineCloud security/ secure development life cycleExperience working in an Agile or Scrum environment #LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
