Job Requisition ID #23WD69560Position OverviewAutodesk Construction Solutions is looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer - iOS Development to help us build the future faster. Our users are building some of the most amazing construction projects in the world, and our platform is their central information point.  The Field Issues team is building a best-in-class issue tracking system for the construction industry. The end users are general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and consultants that need to be able to take their work with them wherever they are on the construction site or in the office. The issues product is one of the most used tools inside Autodesk Construction Solutions that connects millions of data points every month. Unresolved and untracked issues can cost our customers hours in time and millions in their bottom line. Our customers rely on this issue ecosystem to track, assign, and report on safety, quality, design, coordination issues throughout the entire construction lifecycle from design to handover.  Our stacks are diverse, so you will get exposure to many technologies including Swift, Kotlin, Kotlin Native, and more.ResponsibilitiesAs an iOS Engineer, you’ll tackle difficult and interesting challenges and help build and improve the overall health of our mobile platform to enable our engineers to be hyper-productiveBuilding near real-time collaboration and mark-up for construction drawingsEnhancing our shared library that is used across all three of our mobile platforms (iOS, Android, and Windows Desktop) written in Kotlin NativeBuilding slick and responsive UI that can handle millions of user generated data points (like photos and annotations)Building tools to streamline communication and collaboration on the construction siteTackling synchronization and consistency that allows our users to work and edit offlineReplacing Excel workflows with simple, powerful toolsMinimum QualificationsHave at least 5 years of engineering experienceHave the passion and dedication to write highly scalable, reliable codeLove solving tricky problemsHave experience building iOS apps in Objective-C and SwiftMajor plus if you have experience with at least one server side framework (Rails, Django, Flask, etc.) and/or any other native client experience (Android, .NET)Team player — you love to teach others about cool new tricks you learned and absorb tips and tricks from developers; love solving problems as a team across platformsAbout Autodesk Construction SolutionsAutodesk has fully reimagined the construction business for the digital age, enabling companies to address the most important challenges they face today while preparing for new ways of working in the future.
