Job Requisition ID #23WD69258Position OverviewThe GTM Strategy Manager is a highly motivated self-starter who drives GTM strategy, analytics, and insights to accelerate the growth of Autodesk’s global business. A successful GTM Strategy manager is a scrappy problem solver, very analytical, and ideally has a strong foundational knowledge of SaaS GTM strategy. This role sits in the Sales Strategy and GTM Insights team. The team charter is to craft and execute the GTM strategies, with a focus on Sales and Channel strategies, that will double Autodesk’s business over the next 5 years. This role provides exposure to a variety of interesting projects and works directly with a wide range of highly intelligent colleagues across Autodesk (incl. finance, marketing, product strategy, sales, customer success, data science, revenue operations etc.) and senior leaders who look to this team to address Autodesk’s biggest challenges and growth opportunities. ResponsibilitiesHelp business leaders and their teams conceive and plan for a more effective, scalable and sustainable approach to GTM strategy development, planning, operations and executionConceive and deliver novel ways of achieving business results, enhancing organizational and team performance, results and productivityPropose changes to GTM strategy, based on insight on trends, challenges and growth opportunitiesSupport GTM strategic initiatives and programs, including: annual planning, market segmentation, GTM blueprint and other long term strategic programsWork cross-functionally with teams including sales and GTM finance, business operations, product strategy, marketing, customer success and data science to align their priorities with worldwide GTM strategiesSupport company-level strategy-setting and planning effortsPreferred Qualifications4 - 8+ years of experience in GTM strategy, strategy consulting, investment banking, BizOps or related fields; with progressively increasing responsibilityMBASelf-starter with a proven track record of independently owning projects; capable of seeking information, solving conceptual problems, corralling resources and delivering results in challenging situationsAptitude for framing business questions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and bias to action and process improvementsAbility to comfortably work in a fast paced, ambiguous and deadline-driven environmentComfortable working closely and building relationships with senior executivesComfortable with data and ambiguity; able to both delve into the details and operational tactics, and engage meaningfully on the big picture or overall strategyAbility to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence Entrepreneurial mindset with a bias toward actionExpert knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint; knowledge of SQL, PowerBI/Tableau, Snowflake and Salesforce preferredAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $116,800 and $188,870. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
