Job Requisition ID #23WD69531Position OverviewIn this role, you will be able to apply and grow your design and research skills as you help us craft the next generation workflows and functionality for the Autodesk Fusion360. You will work with a team of UX designers, as well as with stakeholders from Product Management, Software Engineering, Software Architecture and Content Development to create compelling experiences that provide the right insights and recommendations, at the right time, to our customers. This includes interviews, ethnographic observation, workflow analyses and contextual inquiryAssist research team to create personas based on researchMaintain familiarity with other company products and competitive products to ensure compatibility with proposed feature setsPropose and design product-wide patterns to ensure consistency of experienceTransfer understanding of user needs and workflows to propose enhancements to company productsDesign and evaluate alternative solutions to choose the best approachVisualize and prototype an intended solution. Validate designs with customers and internal stakeholdersAssist in the coordination and facilitation of usability tests and other target user researchCompose highly detailed design assets/prototypes to support the implementation of design proposalsDeliver design documentation for use by a wide range of audiences including Software Development, Test Development, Technical Publications, Sales and MarketingReview feature implementation, test plans and documentation to ensure accuracy of desired application resultsMay lead efforts to define XD strategy Leads efforts to work collaboratively across teams and orgs to ensure cohesive workflows. Works with BG/WG leads to ensure customer experience is one of the three core considerations in product planning (Viability, Desirability, Feasibility) Works with senior Staff to escalate issues and seek decisions, as appropriateLead presentations and discussions with users, developers, and internal stakeholders to drive resolution on proposed features and functionalityLead the effort to ensure the development team has a clear vision of the desired experienceNegotiate on scope with PM and Dev counterpartsYou are an effective communicator. You possess strong verbal, written and visual communication and presentation skills. You are able to set and communicate clear expectations and deliver on them in a dynamic environment across multiple time zones and a diverse workforceYou have strong problem solving and design skills. You enjoy solving complex problems in creative ways.
