That, and we really like to laugh.Partnering with business teams, you will provide a broad range of legal support to the Product Development and Manufacturing Solutions (PDMS) group. You will play a pivotal role in helping to deliver on the convergence of data and process across PDMS, enabling our customers to harvest new value from data, automation, and insights on the Fusion 360 platform and its various verticals. You will need to be curious and proactive, and have a good sense of humor, to thrive in this role.Location: San Francisco, CA, hybrid model.ResponsibilitiesParticipate as a proactive business partner to leaders and teams and build a trusted advisor relationship. Engage with team members at all levels, including executives, product and program management, software engineers and business strategyLearn and advise on the legal implications of new technologies, such as AI and ML, AR/VR, new business models, new strategies, and the ever-changing landscape of cloud services and infrastructureContribute to developing and implementing programs for policy and process improvements to enable teams to move faster and smarterSupport design, development and release of offerings by identifying and driving resolution of issues related to intellectual property, privacy, data security, data use, confidentiality, marketing, competition, regionalization, strategic partnerships and risk managementDraft, review and negotiate a variety of agreements critical to PDMS, including those relating to cloud service offerings, inbound licensing and SaaS services, developer programs, Autodesk open-source projects, and technology and strategic partnershipsAssist with M&AMinimum QualificationsYou have a JD degree from ABA accredited university and are a member in good standing of the California BarYou have been providing legal support to software and cloud service businesses, either at a law firm or corporate legal department for a minimum of 3 yearsHave expertise and interest in intellectual property, privacy and technology transactionsThe Ideal CandidateYou are curious, tech savvy, and practicalNegotiation and drafting give you joy, as does making the complex simpleYou’re a great communicator, or, if not, you really want to be greatClick below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/Are you an existing contractor or consultant with Autodesk? For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $139,100 and $225,060. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
