Job Requisition ID #22WD66589Position OverviewAutodesk Construction Solution team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build its Desktop Connector for world-wide customers. Desktop connector is a crucial software that bridges the data between desktop based software and cloud world.You will be part of the software development team in Shanghai, working closely with global teams to deliver high quality Desktop Connector, to help global customers transform. ResponsibilitiesExpert in C# .Net technology and design patterns with ability to research and develop complex solutionsExperience in desktop development with understanding of components involved in a desktop app like DropBoxUnderstand how async and concurrency workfamiliar with OOD and design patterns is going to be helpfulSelf-starter with ability to research a 3rd party library, develops PoC and clearly identify feature gaps, risks, feasibility, and extensibilityDesign and implement reusable and modular components that fit into existing applications and servicesBreak down a large problem into smaller components and provide a clear solution for each piecePassion for developing robust software by writing testable and maintainable codeWork collaboratively in Agile environment to achieve team goalsProficient in Chinese and EnglishMinimum Qualifications7+ years’ experience designing applications and developing software in .Net5+ years’ experience with C# and developing windows forms, WPF applicationsExperience with at least one major server-side application frameworkComfortable working in Windows environmentBS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experiencePreferred Qualifications2+ years’ experience with WCF and inter-process communication2+ years’ experience working in industry leading cloud platforms like AWS or similarCloud security/security development life cycle#LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
