Candidates will use their in-depth industry, business trends, technology, and software knowledge to uncover customer business challenges and translate our customers’ business challenges into technical solutions that deliver business outcomes, thus earning status as a trusted advisor within the Inside Sales/Partner community. They will support Sales campaigns with our Inside Sales teams covering the APAC region (excluding Japan). They partner with Inside Sales teams and Channel Partners to drive incremental annual recurring revenue (ARR) and subscription growth. You will gain experience interacting with customers of all levels in a variety of industries and across a broad geographical area. Autodesk offers a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will be provided the tools, resources, and outstanding leadership to sell market-leading design software to take your career to the next level!The Inside Technical Specialists provide Industry technical enablement and pre-sales excellence by mentoring and training Inside Sales to ensure Sales success. They are the technical sales coordinator, leveraging the whole of the APAC Technical Sales organization and connecting large sales opportunities to the extended regional Technical Sales teams and Subject Matter Experts. In addition, they will deliver technical assets (videos, datasets, PowerPoints, …) in the context of marketing campaigns, including the delivery of webinars to large audiences.Responsibilities• Use Autodesk company standard sales methodologies to ensure technical closure and alignment with sales strategies.• Understands, positions, and sells Autodesk’s unique business value in competitive sales situations.• Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of the business processes, technology trends, and workflows within their domain of expertise to provide insight and guidance required to position the value of Autodesk.• Collaborates with other Technical Specialists to support customer needs outside their domain of expertise and to employ cross-selling tactics.• Shares best practices, competitive information, innovation, and thought leadership within the sales organization, product divisions, Channel Partners, and Technical Sales organizations locally and globally.• Interacts and communicates with the various business units of Autodesk to ensure that customer needs are met.• Influences product development and product direction through customer feedback and identifying business opportunities. Provides answers and shares knowledge on technical product and integration information pertaining to Autodesk or competitor products.• Supports internal sales & technical sales enablement by creating or localizing digital assets and content.• Participates in their industry’s community through discussion groups and online/social mediums.• Acts as an evangelist for Autodesk’s solutions.• Maintains and promotes the value of their industry expertise to Autodesk sales, Channel Partners, and customers.• Is involved in marketing webinars, industry newsletters, blogs, social media channels, and Autodesk Knowledge Network (AKN) articles.Minimum Qualifications / Skills & Experience • +5 years’ experience in Engineering • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction or a related industry. • Understands the MEP & Construction industry and maintains knowledge of future trends • Understands project workflows from design, estimation, construction administration, coordination, and fabrication • Knowledge of industry standards, workflows, data formats, and interoperability techniques • Works both independently and in team environments and can manage multiple priorities • Polished professionalism with above-average organizational, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills • Strong presentation skills for online presentations • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent sales cycles • Proven ability to collaborate with virtual team members• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.• Must have strong customer service and relationship-building skills within industrial marketplaces.• Exceptional oral and written communication skills being well versed in value selling techniques, and the ability to sell up into organizations.At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
