It’s therefore an exciting time to be looking for a new leader to front this critical part of our business.As leader of Americas Channel and Volume Sales you will be responsible for a significant part of our business. Reporting to the Vice President of Americas Sales,  this is a key role in shaping and executing Autodesk’s business with our Value-Added channel in the Americas region.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the Channel strategy in Americas region in close cooperation with the Global Partner Programs team to achieve growth targets for our Indirect and Volume businessMotivate and manage a team of senior Channel leads, Partner Consultants and Inside Partner Managers across the region. Ensure our culture values are embedded in everything we doDrive Channel leadership best practices in the region and share with peers worldwideCommunicate Autodesk’s strategy and direction to our Partners, agree targets and inspect their business plans to achieve shared goalsEmbrace our Customer First approach to deliver a world class customer experience for our end-users and for our valued partnersDetermine appropriate Channel coverage. Identify potential partners and negotiate partnerships. Define new potential partner types which could support the businessDevelop and maintain partner relationships in largest partners to influence their strategic direction and other matters of significance to their organizations. Act as a senior business consultant and trusted advisor to help partners set their business strategyEnable and encourage collaboration between partners and internal sales teams including Mid-markets, Inside Sales Hub, acquired companies, Customer Success, License Compliance and all relevant stake holdersDesign and create strategic Channel programs and working with partners as well as internal sales and marketing teams to ensure successful executionCoordinate with sales teams on reseller engagement, certification requirements, programs, policies and ensure compliance with contract termsAnalyze Partner training needs and work with external and internal providers to build and execute on training plans. Review success of plansCollaborate with internal and external business partners to build, maintain, and implement business plans to support the sales effortGrow the business through our indirect Channels by defining and executing appropriate sales activities. Supporting our Industry Strategic Realization plans within our partnersAchieve our revenue targets with our AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT line of business as well as with our ISV/OEM solutions. This includes regular forecasting of this part of the revenue streamClosely align with our Digital Sales team to drive revenue growth with our European eStoresMinimum QualificationsBA/BS degree. Masters level preferred in a relevant field12+ years of relevant business experience with a minimum of 6 years of experience in a leadership positionExperience with B2B sales in a technology environmentBusiness Development experience. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate how they have developed a long term business strategy and worked with a partner network at the most senior level to sell, influence and drive significant change to the benefit of vendor and partnersExperience in managing a team of sales professionals towards defined goals. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $285,900 and $413,820. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
