They aspire to understand our customers’ challenges, what they need, and how we can create value for them.To be successful in this role you need to be a proven software development leader, have experience driving product requirements and research processes, and have demonstrated success planning, leading, and communicating with global teams delivering complex solutions.ResponsibilitiesPlan, develop, deliver, and operate Manufacturing Informed Design solutionsDefine technical strategy and drive engineering efforts to operate secure, scalable, and highly available MID services and capabilitiesAs part of the leadership team, you will lead global engineering, product management, and experience design teamsContinuously improve and adapt our software development methodologies, focusing on software quality, efficiency, and rapid development iterations designed to improve speed-to-marketBuild a culture of trust and collaboration amongst your team and stakeholdersTranslate broad company strategies into clear, specific objectives and actionable plans, building passion and buy-in across teamsActively collaborate, influence, communicate, inspire, and motivate across all levels of the organization and collaborate and align with stakeholders, vendors, and customersEnsure alignment of product strategy and execution with stakeholders across Autodesk product groups.Recruit, coach, and inspire engineering teams to successfully deliver the strategic application portfolioMeasure organizational progress and health through metrics and resultsKeep the team focused on breakthrough strategies and tactics to leverage the best resources of a growing companyMinimum Qualifications10+ years experience with 3+ years of management with a proven track record of defining, building, launching, and operating complex software solutions including cloud-based solutionsDemonstrated success leading complex software development efforts with multiple scrum teams operating globallyExperience developing, leading, and inspiring engineering professionals to succeed in a fast-changing and highly competitive marketExperience driving product requirements, product experience design, and agile methodology and specifically with incremental release processesAchieve team alignment and accountability by working “in the open”Strong presentation skills and motivation to participate in speaking engagements with other Autodesk stakeholders customers and technology partnersA customer-focused mindset Preferred QualificationsHas extensive experience in software engineering, managing complex technical projects; knows how to build products and develop teams, specifically experience with cloud, web, and desktop applications development and deliveryHas an affinity for working in early stage teams and leading in a hands-on, entrepreneurial, and pragmatic styleIs a problem solver who uses common sense solutions and includes appropriate stakeholders in efficient and transparent decision-making processesIs comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty and can bring clarity and decisive action to your team and stakeholdersKnows the tools, technologies, workflows, and outcomes that drive our customers in the AEC industryUnderstands the technical impact and business opportunities of combining manufacturing and AEC solutionsIs a motivating and inspirational leader who can energize people and teams and nurture loyalty, trust, and followingIs a technology-savvy leader with an affinity for strategy and businessAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
