Job Requisition ID #23WD69707Position OverviewAutodesk revenue accountants are a clever bunch who are responsible for the most important line on our Income Statement – REVENUE! As a member of this team, you will prepare key quarter end analyses, help support new initiatives and projects, and work collaboratively with your team and other groups to come up with ideal solutions to complex problems. You will work closely with your manager to ensure accurate revenue reporting as required under ASC 606. In addition, you will assist with process reengineering and system enhancement projects within the order to cash cycle. Every day is a new challenge and you will be continuously looking for ways to help our team get better at what we do, in the most efficient way possible. This is an exciting opportunity to unequivocally influence our customers, and Autodesk’s future success.ResponsibilitiesPerform key analyses and account reconciliations for revenue and deferred revenue related accounts on a worldwide basisPrepare journal entries for revenue, deferred revenue and accounts receivable related accounts on a worldwide basisPrepare quarterly audit schedules and periodic reports to support internal and external reporting requirementsImplement and document processes and procedures as required including Sarbanes Oxley complianceSupport and participate in companywide projects for revenue accounting as well as order to cash cycles including requirements gathering and UATIdentify opportunities and implement programs to centralize, eliminate or automate activitiesWork through accounting implications and confirm we can operationally support business agreements. Provide accounting guidance to sales, product and other cross functional teamsWork closely with international locations as needed to obtain information necessary to analyze data and reconcile accountsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business or equivalent practical experience2+ years of relevant work experiencExcellent quantitative, analytical and data mining skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independentlyExperience with monthly and quarterly close activities, account reconciliations, problem resolution, audit schedule preparation and working with external and internal auditorsWorking knowledge of U.S. GAAP, with a focus on revenue recognitionPreferred QualificationsCPA certification or equivalent practical experienceExperience working with SAP and/or Business ObjectsAdvanced proficiency in ExcelInvolvement in process improvement.Passion for driving business decisions by analyzing large and complex data sets.Excellent business acumen with ability to deal with ambiguity.Effective skills and ability to understand and present data.Enthusiastic and creative with the ability to inspire, influence and encourage others, in both relationships with customers and peersClick below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $76,100 and $131,230. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
