We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer in Test (SET) who will work in an agile environment supporting the global Autodesk Revit Cloud Worksharing team. Unified through great engineering and the Autodesk culture code, you will find frequent opportunities for sharing, learning, and growing together to uphold our shared vision of excellence in Autodesk solutions.  Your role will be to support initiatives related to improving quality, stability, reliability, and usability of software. You will achieve this by leveraging your quality assurance mindset combined with your technical skills for test automation. You will use tools and procedures for validating quality of cloud services that your team deploys, and the desktop changes they ship to our customers. You will be creating and executing test plans and analyzing test results with the objective of finding defects during the software development process. You will partner with the product support organization to assist them in resolving customer issues and engage with the broader Building QA organization to ensure the quality of customer workflows. This role is based on the East Coast, Eastern Time Zone Work Hours. ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with other technical staff on the implementation, deployment, and maintenance of the Automation Testing within Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines Collaborate with developers, QA analysts and other SETs to identify and prioritize testing strategies where process or test automation best achieves the testing goals; by balancing return on investment, maximized test coverage and minimized risk  Participate in discussions about (commercial, open-source or proprietary) testing tools and frameworks that might add value Support functional, performance, load, scalability, and resiliency testing as needed Encourage practices that drive engineering excellence and focus on quality first mindset Clearly document, manage, and prioritize defects Monitor, analyze, and present automated and manually gathered test results and metrics Share knowledge, exchange ideas, and mentor teammates as expressions of Autodesk’s cultural valuesActively engage in various agile team meetings  Minimum Qualifications 3+ years of automation testing experience Experience testing cloud-based SaaS solutions  Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, debugging & testing Experience with one or more popular testing frameworks and automation tools Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python Self-starter who can come up to speed quickly on our applications, technologies, and processes   Comfortable working in Linux and Windows environmentBS in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field  Preferred Qualifications Experience working with cloud-based technologies such as AWS/Google/AzureExperience working in an Agile or Scrum environmentThe Ideal CandidateEmbraces collaboration across disciplines and organizations and take initiative to propose solutions and alternatives Is inclusive and actively seek to gather ideas and feedback from others to achieve better outcomes Loves to learn and embrace change with a sense of curiosity Is excited about applying automation to improve sustainability, efficiency, and reliability Uses data to evaluate the success of solutions  Has a passion for continuous improvement and seek opportunities to learn and improve with every failure. Is committed to our customers and upholding their trust in our products#LI-JK1Click below to learn more about our benefits in the US.https://benefits.autodesk.com/ At Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $78,100 and $134,750. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
