If so, we invite you to join the Autodesk Building Design team, the makers of Autodesk Revit. We’re seeking an accomplished and highly motivated frontend engineer who will work as part of a cross functional agile team. Our team is focused on building the next generation of Autodesk Insight Tech Preview cloud service that empowers architects and engineers to design more energy-efficient buildings with advanced simulation engines and building performance analysis data integrated in Autodesk Revit. Your role will be to drive the frontend of the next generation service by working closely with the product owner, experience designer, and other engineers. You will develop and maintain this new secure, scalable, available and performant service. You will be actively engaged in code reviews. You will also have the opportunity to improve the Autodesk shared UI components library. Responsibilities Develop high quality, secure and stable code that is covered by unit tests Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team in responding to customer and business needs Conduct research and make recommendations on tools, services, and standards to use for engineering efforts Document and present your ideas and solutions accurately and thoroughly Coordinate change deployment and release testing effort Work closely with customers to support production services in an on-call rotation and be an escalation contact for service incidents Enthusiasm to mentor teammates, learn from others and actively engage in various agile team meeting Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience Relevant experience building large scale web applications 2+ years of relevant experience in Web Development with JavaScript and frameworks like React, Angular or Vue Experience with fundamental web technologies - HTML5, CSS & JavaScript with a solid understanding of the underlying principles Basic understanding of the development APIs with HTTP, REST, and JSON, as well as their testing and deployment Comfortable with Git Comfortable with working in Linux and Windows environment Self-motivated, autonomous, empathetic and great communication skill Preferred Qualifications Working experience with TypeScript Experience with a backend technology like .NET Core, Java, NodeJS or Python Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts, S.O.L.I.D principles and design patterns Experience of CI/CD concepts and working with a deployment pipeline Development life cycle Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment #LI-POSTAt Autodesk, we're building a diverse workplace and an inclusive culture to give more people the chance to imagine, design, and make a better world.
