Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:Job Summary of the Product OwnerThe Product Owner owns the product on behalf of Ubiquity; championing the product, and managing product decisions. He/She is responsible for driving execution on the product strategy. The Product Owner will work closely with the business to ensure the features developed align with the strategic goals.  This role will be critical in the self-organized team and will translate strategic goals to requirements to implementable solutions as well as being involved in the day-to-day operations and practices of the team.What it will doCreates buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.Is accountable for maximizing the value of the product resulting from the work of the Scrum Team. How this is done may vary widely across organizations, Scrum Teams, and individuals.Developing and explicitly communicating the Product Goal, creating and clearly communicating Product Backlog items.Articulates the benefits of the product features and translates them into customer-facing messaging.Ordering Product Backlog items; and ensuring that the Product Backlog is transparent, visible and understood.Manages end to end product development and delivery; ensuring prompt and best quality of deliveryPrepares weekly and monthly regular reports of progress or as needed.Willing to take on new responsibilities as may be assigned/required by the management.Flexibility to work extended hours as needed.What do we need from you?Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree course, preferably a graduate of IT/Computer science or related field. Also open to any course with relevant work experience and skillsMust have at least 5 years of practice related to the role.Must have experience working in an Agile environment.Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsSubject matter expertise in a particular product or market.
