Your tomorrow looks bright at Ubiquity.Your Role:IT Support AssociateReports to: IT Support LeadDepartment: TechnologySite: ManilaIT Support Associates are responsible of providing user-facing support both in person andremotely based on support tickets received and logged in the organization's ticketing system.Associates are also responsible of supporting engineering teams with setting up andtroubleshooting systems on the ground.They provide technical support to all employees within the organization for both software andhardware related problems reported through our IT ticketing system and other support channels.Additionally, an IT Support Associate is responsible of setting up new equipment and supportengineering teams in setting up/maintaining equipment on-siteResponsibilities✓ Should be able to handle basic and routine IT Support tasks.✓ Should efficiently diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported✓ Should be able to provide first level of basic support on software and hardware✓ Should be able to work with various internal teams such as Operations, Workforce, MIS, etc.Qualifications and requirements● 0 to 4 years of experience in a similar role providing technical support as IT Support● Ongoing or completed studies in Computer Science, Systems Engineering are a plus.● Effective communication - Intermediate to Advance English is a must due to the need ofcoordinating efforts with foreign team members at all levels.● A technical, logical thought process● Problem-solving skills● An ability to stick to strict deadlines● An ability to prioritize and delegate● Attention to detail is a plus● Working on-site is a must● Due to the nature of the role, moving and lifting heavy equipment (computers, networkswitches, peripherals, etc) is required.What we do.Recognized as the #1 CX provider for disruptors and innovators across financial services, healthcare, and e-commerce, Ubiquity was founded on the belief that our clients and their customers deserve better.
