We are developing and deliver API Security features which are highly important for our F5 Security portfolio. The team includes developers in Israel and India, and we are working together on the product around 2 years since Volterra acquisition.The ideal candidate is an energetic, hands-on and creative problem solver that is energized to solve and deliver solutions. Position Summary The XC API Security team is looking for technically strong Software Developer who can lead development and delivery of tasks from research and design till productization.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience developing the backend using Golang, Python. Working knowledge of Cloud orchestration systems such as Kubernetes. Working knowledge of at least one Cloud Computing platform. Experience in developing multi-services systems, using gRPC, RESTful API. Advantage: experience in ML development, data analysis and building models. Advantage: developing and/or research in API security area. Ability to implement all phases of a development cycle for a software product from understanding requirements, going through design, development and deploy phases. Self-motivated and willing to delve into new areas and take on new challenges in an enthusiastic manner. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal, team building, and mentoring skills. Work cohesively with geographically distributed team. Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field. 6+ years of software engineering and development experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.Working in an environment where work hours are scheduled shifts.
