Position Summary The Field Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing marketing programs that generate new prospects and advance existing pipeline opportunities for our Service Provider business. Marketing investment should align with targeted campaigns and initiatives that contribute to pipeline growth, deal acceleration, and awareness. This will include the ability to operate as the primary interface between Marketing and Sales; incorporate multi-touch programs including both inbound and outbound tactics; and manage vendor contracts and relationships. You will coordinate corporate and regional resources to drive integrated programs/campaigns, as well as collaborate on individual marketing plans with sales teams. The Field Marketing Manager will provide support for F5 hosted and sponsored events for the Service Provider region. Primary Responsibilities Sales Engagement and Partnership Partner with Service Provider sales leaders and teams to understand their objectives and targets and build marketing strategies to engage their customers Become proficient in Account Intelligence tools – like Demandbase and TechTarget Priority Engine – to support account research and share account intelligence with sales stakeholders Communicate and educate the sales team regarding new and planned marketing activities including global, regional and local programs Field Marketing Events Research, select, design and manage key events – hosted and sponsored – for the Service Provider region and vertical to be included as tactics in the broader campaign plan Create an optimal customer journey for the event with a thoughtful and detail-oriented view on pre-, during and post-event experiences incorporating strategies to increase engagement and response rates Ensure leads from event execution are visible and sales is accountable for follow up to ensure ROI Forecast, measure and analyze reports on impact of field events to learn, improve and justify investment Demand Generation and Account Based Marketing Increase demand for F5 solutions by supporting execution of global campaigns in the field Proactively work with sales on lead management and ensure that expectations are managed in terms of lead follow-up and drive continuous process discipline Use Marketing Stack including Tableau, Allocadia, SFDC, Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms to execute on programs and analyze results Partner with sales to analyze customer intent data and build targeted 1: few and 1:1 marketing programs to engage customers Qualifications Experience and a proven track record in event marketing, field marketing, strategic marketing planning, or business development Experience working closely with sales teams and sales leadership Experience working with channel partners and/or channel marketing Excellent written and oral communication skills Ability to assimilate technical knowledge Use Marketing Stack including Tableau, Allocadia, Vistex, SFDC, Marketo or similar marketing automation platforms to execute on programs and analyze results Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications (or related experience) 5+ Years in Technology Marketing (B2B Preferred) F5 is an equal opportunity employer and strongly supports diversity in the workplace. #LI-KT #LI-REMOTE The Job Description is intended to be a general representation of the responsibilities and requirements of the job.
