Join our team and help make a difference in people’s lives by solving problems using data and saving them days, weeks and months of work on data prep and blending.OverviewThe SMB Account Executive will be responsible for building and driving business in the SMB and Commercial sector with and through our portfolio of partnersThis is a quota carrying position requiring successful experience selling with and through a channel partner (reseller), and experience with technology or data solutionsThis role has an annual revenue goal and is expected to develop partners’ sales skills and success and help them understand the Alteryx platformThe  SMB Account Executive will work closely with the Partner Account Managers in A/NZ, and will collaborate across functions with internal resources, and leverage platforms such as Salesforce.com to manage the businessResponsibilitiesManage the  A/NZ territory for the Alteryx SMB and Commercial sector focused on driving incremental Alteryx revenue through our portfolio of PartnersDevelop assigned partners generating new business in existing and new accountsCreate strong working relationships with partners at all levels including executive, sales, marketing, and operationsTrain and enable key partners leveraging Alteryx sales playbooks and campaigns within the SMB/Commercial sectorWork with partners developing demand generation programs and campaigns building sufficient pipeline to achieve assign sales targetsEngage with partners to enhance value and co-selling assistance to their prospectsSupport and mentor partners’ sales activities, including direct sales support on prospect calls, required quoting motions, managing Deal Registrations, and conducting regular pipeline meetings and forecast reviewsEnsure all opportunities are accurately represented using sales planning toolsBe an expert in the policies and structure of the Alteryx Partner Program as well as understand the resources available to partners such as training and events for partnersDevelop a deep understanding of the capabilities of our different partners and leverage them to expand sales into the SMB/Commercial sectorWork closely with the Partner Account Managers to align SMB/Commercial goals with the broader GTM planning, strategy and messagingQualifications5-7 years’ experience in either Direct Sales or Channel Sales ideally with an enterprise software company and/or data/analytics software vendorAbility to develop scalable Channel partner relationshipsExperience selling into the SMB/Commercial sector with a high deal count and velocityAbility to skillfully negotiate both internally and externallyStrong written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively present to all levels of managementAbility to coach and mentor the sales teams within assigned partnersExpertise with sales planning and pipeline management tools like Salesforce, Clari, etc.Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with partners and prospects at senior executive level, across legal, finance, support, sales, and marketing functionsHigh energy, enthusiasm, and passion for the businessExcellent planning and time management skillsFind yourself checking a lot of these boxes but doubting whether you should apply?
