The Chief Accounting Officer (“CAO”) is responsible for the oversight of all global accounting and finance operations, while achieving strong internal controls and meeting all applicable compliance requirements for a fast-growing SaaS company. The CAO will be primarily responsible for establishing and managingaccounting and finance workflows to include financial reporting; general ledger accounting (month-end close); revenue operations (including project accounting, revenue recognition, invoicing and collecting client payments); payroll, tax, equity administration and procurement. In addition, the CAO will manage,build, and mentor a global team. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer.Key Responsibilities:Recruit, manage, oversee, mentor, and develop a best-in-class accounting department of approximately 50 employeesSet standards of excellence and make improvements to processes, efficiencies, technology, and talent managementBe a leader who is driven to build high performing teams, contributing to a positive and empathetic culture which values team members, providing support and mentorship along the wayEnsure all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported timely and in accordance with accounting policies on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
