Job DescriptionAs part of Sustaining Team, the candidate will be responsible for improving the features, quality and overall stability of the product. He/she will be developing solutions to address the customer production issues. The profile requires writing quality code, troubleshooting customer issues and use cases, debugging & fixing complex problems. He/ She will work closely with the customer support team, core development team, QA team, and Services team and communicate directly with the customers, as and when required. This position is highly visible & customer facing and thus requires being highly responsible, daring to explore new territories, learn and adapt to new language/functionality, quick context switching and stretching at times to have a happy customer in the end. The candidate should be optimistic and should have high networking capabilities. He/she can work with or without guidance, apply judgements under defined policies/processes and continue enhancing domain/technical skills.Required Skills/Experience:BE/MCA with 3-5 years of software development/sustaining experience in Java/J2EE technologyExperience in developing/maintaining applications across different tiers - Web UI, business logic, persistence, integrations/connectivityHaving experience in JSF, Ext-JS, AJAX, JavaBeans, Bean Shell and other J2EE technologies/frameworkHaving experience with Databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, Sybase, etc.)Knowledge of Web Service architecture – REST, SOAP, SAML, SPML, etc.Knowledge of application servers - Tomcat, JBOSS, WebLogic, WebSphereGood written and verbal communications skills - Experience directly interacting with customers/support team and work under pressure for extended periods to manage escalationsShould have good analytical, problem solving and diagnostic skillsFlexible to adjust working schedule when necessary to communicate and work with SailPoint US team/Services/Support or even customersNice to have knowledge and experience:Knowledge of Identity Management solutions/domainExperience working in Product-based organizationsFamiliarity working with security applications and experience on supporting/ deploying a product will be helpfulGood to have knowledge of cloud based applications, e.g., salesforce, workday, service now, etc.Good to have knowledge of Unix based systems (AIX, Solaris, Linux, etc.)SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
