SailPoint is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to help build a new cloud-based SaaS identity analytics product. We are looking for well-rounded backend or full stack engineers who are passionate about building and delivering reliable, scalable microservices and infrastructure for SaaS products. This is a unique opportunity to build something from scratch but have the backing of an organization that has the muscle to take it to market quickly, with a very satisfied customer base. Responsibilities Responsible for development, support, maintenance, and implementation of complex components of a program module or medium sized projectWorks on problems of complex scope, through extensive usage of standard concepts and principles.Works as a fully contributing team member, under broad guidance with independent planning and execution responsibilities.Requires extensive knowledge of at least one development technology/ programming language.Expected to continue to build upon domain knowledge along with technical/proprietary skills to reach levels of expertise while adapting standard principles to new or changed conditions in day-to-day work.Has the ability to respond to detailed queries.Applies own judgment to independently determine a course of action, which is then executed independently post review.Responsible for coaching, guiding, and mentoring junior members in the team to help them scale up fasterWork experience 5-7 years Desired profile of the candidate Excellent knowledge of Java, advanced JavaHands on experience consuming SOAP and REST Web Services, OAuth2 - authorizationKnowledge of Application server like Tomcat, WebLogic, WebSphereFast learning and self-directed, flexible enough to work on new technologies as well as some legacy componentsExcellent English skills - should be capable of communicating outstandingly in English, both verbally and in writingAdvantages – proven knowledge and experience in the following subjects:Knowledge of Identity Management solutions & domain.Experience of working on Cloud solution, knowledge of CI/CD.Knowledge of test framework, Mockito, TestNGBasic / UG Qualification Should have university degree in computer sciences or equivalent degree.SailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.
