We are well under way to hiring a team of top-notch engineers.  Our Data Intelligence team is looking to add a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer. SailPoint’s Data Intelligence team is tasked with bringing world class machine learning, artificial intelligence, data analytics and visualization features to our customers. From applied data science to cutting edge user experiences, we spend our days finding clever ways to use our customers' and products' data to enhance our customers' experiences with Identity Governance.  Responsibilities: Design and implement efficient and scalable dimensional models on cloud data warehouses, ensuring optimal query performance and data accessibility for end users. Develop and optimize complex Hive queries to extract insights from large-scale data sets, leveraging techniques such as partitioning, bucketing, and indexing to improve query performance and reduce resource consumption. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes that support creating and maintaining dimensional models, ensuring data quality and integrity. Conduct performance tuning and optimization activities to improve the speed and efficiency of queries, including analyzing query plans, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing optimizations such as query rewriting, data compression, and caching. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in cloud data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
