This role will be working in our German market, requiring proficiency in both English and German. Implementation Engineers begin their journey at SailPoint with product training where they can leverage their professional experience to gain a deep understanding of our SaaS (Identity Now) solution. Within a month or two, they begin serving as technical engineers on customer projects. In these projects, they will employ their industry knowledge, technical and communication skills to implement organisational best practices for SailPoint products and identity governance. Within six months, Implementation Engineers will have established themselves as technically proficient and reliable team members within Professional Services, able to handle large, complex projects under the guidance of a Solution Architect. By the end of their first year, they will have become a trusted resource capable of providing world-class service with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Working with customers on the installation, integration, and deployment of SailPoint SaaS products. Configuring SailPoint product as defined by Solution Architect. Communicating to clients and partners aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level. Delivering technical training designed to enable/educate SailPoint customers and implementation partners.  Requirements: 3-5 years of professional work experience as part of a software company or systems integrator. This should include 2+ years of SaaS implementation experience Excellent communication skills (German and English) and experience working with clients and partners. Experience with some or all the following: Angular JS, Java, Bean Shell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL. Web technologies: XML, SPML, SOAP, REST, Web / Application Servers, HTML. Setting up and installing software on both Windows and Unix RDMS Database Knowledge: Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL. Experience with enterprise directories such as Microsoft Active Directory and LDAP. Networking principles: SSL/TLS/HTTPS, Certificate Management, Basic TCP/IP troubleshooting. Familiarity with cloud technologies: AWS, Azure, GCP. Preferred: SailPoint or other identity governance vendors such as Microsoft, Sun, Oracle, IBM, or Novell a plus Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts a plus Familiarity with role-based access controls and least-privileged access models a plus Experience with project management duties (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation) Experience with quality assurance duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans) Security software or IT audit experience Other languages such as French, Spanish or Italian are desirable but not essentialEducation: Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. J2EE certification is a plus.
