Delivered at the scale our enterprise customers demand. Security Assessment AnalystIn this role, you will provide essential support to the pre- and post-sales teams. You will complete security questionnaires and assessments and assist in the completion of RFP responses with a specific focus on the security of our products and services and the controls within our company. You will review a request document and then develop a plan and schedule for the response, create and provide necessary content, and produce full and final security assessments for submission. The nature of work requires an understanding of technology and regulatory issues and a meticulous attention to detail. Our work environment is casual and fun, but we also work hard. The ideal candidate will be positive, proactive, assertive, and innovative, with well-developed writing skills.Within 1 month: You will start with corporate onboarding and role-based training in the SailPoint Academy. You will get familiar with our tools like Loopio, Salesforce, and our customer portal, Compass. We have a guidebook for daily operations and resources within the company. You’ll start by answering practice assessments and shadowing the team on both internal and external calls.Within 3 months: You’ll be using Loopio like a pro and know where the resources are to get questions answered. You’ll continue receiving assessments from customers and questions from the sales team and retain the answers to frequently asked questions. You’ll be under a review cycle until about 6 months or have a qualifying score on an assessment. You’ll continue learning about how to request and dispatch confidential data and documents.Within 6 months:You’ll have completed a qualifying assessment to work independently out of review and will be making a positive impact with internal and external customers. You’ll have the opportunity to work on enablement or projects of interest. If it's building out enablement or taking side projects as they come. Maintaining your knowledge base is key since the software and policies are ever-changing.  Responsibilities:Complete security questions and/or security assessments as requested to meet the required timelineEvaluate requirements in security assessment documentation and select appropriate responses from a managed databaseMaintain and enhance existing response database with content and policy documentsProvide project and/or task-related document preparation, editing, and quality assuranceImprove security assessment writing processes, approach, coordination, and boilerplate responsesWork with other departments within the organization to gather requested information, documentation, resource(s)Be a resource for the Sales Team with prospects and the Customer Success Team with customersMaintain confidentiality of all informationSkills & Experience:1+ years of experience or education in security, technology or sales proposalsAbility to understand and become conversant in identity governance software technologyAbility to multi-task, work independently, and prioritize and manage tasks to work on multiple projects in parallel and meet deadlines and expectations with minimal supervisionAbility to work under pressure to meet tight turn-around timesConfident, professional demeanor and ability to maintain composure in a busy environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPointExcellent analytical skills, detail oriented with strong problem solving skills and good judgmentWillingness to show initiative and enthusiasm when taking on new projects and responsibilitiesUnderstanding of regulatory climate and industry standards (SOX, HIPAA, ISO, SSAE 16, SOC, FedRAMP, GDPR, Data Privacy, etc.)Knowledge of common application security requirements and SDLC practices is a plusExperience writing proposals, reports and/or technical documentationEducation:Bachelor's degree or global equivalent in a communication, IT, engineering, business or sales related fieldSailPoint is an equal opportunity employer and we welcome everyone to our team.  All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
