Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.Position Summary:The Strategic Accounts Manager for Large National Genomics Initiatives, Japan will be responsible for project managing and coordinating local teams to ensure all large-scale genomics initiatives (large government funded initiatives that aim to bring genomics into healthcare at a large or national scale) follow the same framework and there is consistency in the offering. They will work cross functionally to align strategy and operational imperatives, document and provide a single point of contact for review, assessment and execution of these projects.Position Responsibilities:Project manage, align strategy, communicate, and enable large-scale initiatives, ensuring Illumina approach these in a consistent and efficient wayLead strategy for large-scale initiatives in Japan, forming strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation Develop high-value, long-term profitable customer accounts through relationship building and partnershipLeverage internal relationships within the region and globally to reach sales goals for large scale initiativesStratify new initiatives based on volume, market and potentialResponsible for maintaining on a quarterly cadence, in line with forecasting schedule, financial targets and updates and communication of these updates to all stakeholdersDevelop and maintain relationships at multiple levels within large-scale projects from Lab Manager to CEO, including government engagement when requiredEnsure that all cross functional deliverables are provided on time and ensure infrastructure and compliance meet our operational imperativesAct as a central communication point to ensure information flow on all aspects of the business relationship is efficient, effective, and deployed appropriatelyCommunicate the needs of large-scale initiatives providing a channel to product marketing and R&D.The responsibilities listed are an essential but not exhaustive list of the duties associated with the position.
