This Bangalore-based position is required to deal with customers directly for problem solving, pre-sales activities, and customer training. He/she is also responsible for supporting India customers directly using Illumina's sequencing and microarray systems. The candidate must possess prior commercial experience and demonstrated considerable abilities to excel in the below.Position Responsibilities: Coordinate new installations including facility inspections, assay validation and customer trainingProvide comprehensive technical training, support and troubleshooting to customers on issues including user’s technical skills, biochemistry/assay design, experimental design, software and instrumentsOperate cross-functionally to bring success to partnerships and key strategic initiatives in IndiaDevelop and maintain positive relationships in partnerships and with customersManage and carry out projects that include demonstrations, feasibility studies, and new product evaluationStrong in technical skills and able to perform independent troubleshootingMaintain and increase product usage by giving technical presentations and demonstrationsProvide pre- and post-sales technical and scientific presentationAct as the Subject Matter Expert in our market segments including Oncology, Genetic Testing, Reproductive and Genetic Health, Applied Genetics, Molecular Cell Biology and AutomationManage hot accounts and work with internal cross-functional stakeholders Mentor and provide guidance to teammatesDevelop and improve key company processes that support our mission of building a world-class customer support organizationAct as conduit of customer feedback to Sales, Marketing and Product Development teamsCreate and maintain support information in company enterprise databaseListed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position.
