The EAM Staff Business Systems Analyst position will be a part of the GIS EAM team developing and supporting Asset Life Cycle management processes with lines of Business across all of Illumina. The role's responsibilities include the Managing, design, development, and support of SAP EAM functionalities which will help all lines of business to improve asset utilization and life cycle management. The area of focus would be functional and would have to work with technical team to analysis various business requirement and provide appropriate solution using SAP EAM and Fiori solutions. It also includes assessing cross functional impact of changes in existing design and new changes proposedResponsibilitiesResearch and provide best practice recommendations with a focus on end-to-end capabilities and impact to KPIsConduct analysis including root cause identification, development of solution proposals, and creation of business casesPartners with business to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and translate business requirements into functional requirements specifications, workflows and identifies cross-functional dependenciesLeads discussion with business and technical team to collect pain points including non-functional requirements using a structured framework and prepares visuals to communicate and acquire buy-in on stopgaps, recommendations, and solutionsAccountable for solution meeting the agreed upon business requirements while creatively leveraging standard capabilities where possibleOperates in a self-directed capacity and independently; may act as subject matter mentor to junior members of the team.Applies information systems development, implementation, and operation control concepts in a wide variety of technology settings and appropriately assesses the exposures resulting from ineffective or missing controlsDevelops and deliver train-the-trainer content to a super user group and trains entry level employeesDrives the implementation and support of Illumina’s EAM SolutionAct as liaison between Technical Team and End-users and Stakeholders for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, and solve software problemsRequirements5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst in in SAP PM and Enterprise Asset Management with Familiarity in SAP QM, PP, FICO, and MM/IM/WM a plusIntegrating SAP PM with MES and IOT (Experience with SAP MII, iDocs and working with middleware teams preferred)Experience with SAP iDocs, BAPI’s, Functional Modules and Configuration requiredMinimum of 5 years of experience in a full cycle ERP implementations, upgrades, or support projects as the SAP PM module expert Ability to understand business processes from a customer perspective and ability to deliver exceptional results in a highly collaborative cross functional environmentExperience with enterprise analysis including development of solution proposals and creation of business cases with exceptional analytical, planning, organizational and problem-solving abilitiesExpertise in requirements gathering, writing software requirements, process modeling and data mappingStrong ability to present ideas and information in group settings.  Has the ability to persuade, negotiate, and facilitate conflict resolution.Demonstrated experience in testing and test planning in FDA regulated environmentExcellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understandHigh degree of initiative and ownership, as well as a proven history of delivering results while working with several different departments in a fast-paced environmentEducationB.S. in Computer Science or Industrial Engineering or equivalent degree#LI-REMOTEAt Illumina, we strive to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace by cultivating an environment in which everyone contributes to our mission.
