Surrounded by extraordinary people, inspiring leaders, and world changing projects, you will do more and become more than you ever thought possible.ResponsibilitiesMaintain regional physical access control, video management, mass notification, and other security related systems.Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs for systems related break / fix tickets, and other necessary electronic security needs.Achieve timely and cost-effective completion of projects through effective communication and problem-solving, leading the participation and collaboration of multidisciplinary internal and external teams and efficiently identifying and using resources necessary to achieve multiple projects simultaneously. Emphasis of projects will be on global application upgrades, implementations, integrations, and lifecycle managementEnsure security objectives are met throughout design development, construction, and turnover of operations, in accordance with our Strategic and Business Plan objectivesLead procurement/RFP process and make recommendations to leadership for contract award and vendor selectionDefine global, scalable processes to mature the security systems infrastructure of the companyProvide Tier 3 Security System support for ongoing maintenance and service calls globallyMaintain the established development environment for Security Systems applications, testing software and hardware prior to deployment into productionRepresent Illumina's interests with subject matter expertise to established configurations and standards for security systems deploymentDevelop security systems analytics to provide senior leadership with digestible and actionable dataSelect and oversee security systems and protocols to conform to requirements as dictated by InfoSec, Human Resources, and EH&S in the handling of proprietary and/or sensitive data and the selection of hardware to be deployed and managed within the enterprise environmentEnsure implementations meet certification requirements as dictated by relevant business units (ISO/HIPAA/GDPR)Required Qualifications:4-6 years working in the security services industry with previous experience using or administering enterprise security systems (Lenel, Milestone, Genetec, etc.)3+ years of experience in project or program managementWorking understanding of IT systems and/or network infrastructure with an understanding of database administration or Software as a Service (SAAS) experienceTactical experience with security technology hardware, preferably Lenel and MilestoneComputer literate with proficiency in Word, Excel, and cloud-based tools such as Asana, Jira, and ConfluenceExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented with a high sense of urgencyAbility to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work rotating and non-traditional hours as needed (evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays)Ability to work independently with little direct supervisionEducation:Degree in IT Systems Management, Security/Emergency Management, or related field; equivalent work experienceLenel Certified Professional (LCP) or equivalentMilestone Technical Configuration Level 2 or equivalentPhysical Security Professional preferredAdvanced understanding of IT infrastructure and optimization preferredThe estimated base salary range for the Security Systems Specialist role based in the United States of America is: $66,700 - $100,100. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
