The successful applicant will be part of an award-winning customer support team that leads the industry in customer satisfaction.  The support geography includes the greater Seattle Metro area with areas with occasional support required in E. WA, OR, and AK.  Key Responsibilities:  Install, upgrade, repair, maintain and qualify instrument systems in defined territory Remain compliant with administrative responsibilities and business rules. Submit service reports, expense reports, and "Bug" reports in a timely manner. Enter work performed in service database in a timely manner. Maintain accurate service spares inventory. Troubleshoot and repair system problems. Revise/review documentation and SOPs. Demonstrated ability to problem solve in a collaborative environment with service, applications support and sales colleagues.  Listed responsibilities are an essential, but not exhaustive list, of the usual duties associated with the position. Changes to individual responsibilities may occur due to business needs. Requirements: Ability to operate as an independent contributor and as a cooperative member of a team Strong verbal and written communications skills Computer experience and competency required Must be willing to travel up to 25% Ability to lift 50lbs Familiarity of genomics, sequencing applications, and bioinformatics a plus The estimated base salary range for the Field Service Engineer role based in the United States of America is: $72,000 - $108,000. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
