You will be responsible for providing support to various internal and external customers to draft and negotiate various types of legal documents/contracts within our commercial business. You will be required to speak Spanish and English as part of this opportunity. Ideally have 1-2 years’ experience either in-house or in private practice. You will collaborate with various departments and stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Contracts Analysts, customers to provide support and partnership.  Additionally, you will work with the wider Legal team on complex, high-value matters, contracts, or public tenders making communication skills essential. The successful candidate would have a passion for law and delivering exceptional customer service to be successful in this role.Key responsibilities Anticipate and proactively support the prevention and management of legal risks including actively advising on transactional risks, such as reputational, and commercial risk and long-term commitments associated with compliance and other policy matters.Provide solid, pragmatic, and timely commercial legal advice whilst having a focus in regulatory, compliance, competition, privacy, commercial disputes, and public procurement matters, in line with the business priorities, the department objectives and the position needs.Reviews broad variety of agreements for the sale of goods and supply of services to private and public customers (subject to public tenders), providing support and advice to internal stakeholders and spotting issues, inconsistencies, errors and omissions, etc.Oversees the participation in public procurement procedures and the submission of the offer, ensuring legal risks are properly identified and addressed and engaging in negotiations or providing advice to the commercial team where needed.Drafts and negotiates contracts and other legal documentation, including data processing agreements, confidentiality agreements, licenses, service level agreements, loan and rental agreements.Reviews and approves purchase orders for high-value equipment proactively identifying and managing legal and commercial risks arising from the terms of contract.Independently drafts and negotiates the terms of contracts and develops legal templates and forms to be used by other departments within the company.Works closely with other departments (Sales, Sales Administration, Business Development, Finance, Marketing) to effectively address identified issues and concerns.    Responsible for various duties relating to the administration of contracts, including creating and maintaining an organizational system for contracts.RequirementsLaw degree from a reputable faculty of law.Current license to practice as a lawyer in at least one Civil Law jurisdiction (preferably Spain).Some experience in an in-house legal department or law firm is preferred.Native Spanish language and English language fluency (professional level).Experience with contract law and negotiating commercial transactions.Ability to quickly grasp business objectives and handle multiple matters simultaneously.  A strong service orientation and positive can-do attitude. Fully committed to the job and to deliver outstanding work.    Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and drafting skills, with a keen attention to detail.The ability to work independently and to deal effectively with a broad range of personalities and cultures.Experience with public procurement preferred.What can you expectOur team members are bright, energetic and dedicated - they are the driving force behind our innovation and impact.
