The role will be responsible for working with Application Lifecycle Management (Jira, Jama, Polarion, Valgenesis, IBM Dors, etc), including the site configurations and related systems, and its integration with other enterprise systems. Responsibilities include analyzing business need, gathering business requirements, leading solution design teams, testing and implementing solution(s), and recommending best practice methods.Basic Function and Scope of the Position:This role functions as a strategic partner and is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, planning, developing, testing, documenting, and implementing processes within various company business systems.ResponsibilitiesMaintain active communication with business users and stakeholders to manage expectations regarding changes to the system and the introduction of new and enhanced functionality.Accountable to work with Vendor for Incident Escalations, maintain a good relationship with vendor, and test solutions from the Vendor.Conduct enterprise analysis including root cause analysis, development of solution proposals, and creation of business cases. Includes Troubleshooting Incidents.Partner with business to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements and pain points. Translate business requirements and pain points into functional requirements specification, workflow, and cross-functional dependencies. Facilitate confirmation of requirements and designs with business and technical staff.Accountable for knowing processes and functionality around Application Lifecycle Management (Requirements, Risk, and Test Management) end-to-end processes and systems to guide business process changes, configuration, and development. Focusing in on capabilities and impact to KPIs.Conduct data and process analysis using a variety of query and visualization tools.  Familiarity with Tableau, Denodo, and Snowflake is a plus.Manage multiple priorities and successfully completes multiple projects with minimal supervision from the manager.Manage ALM Validations (including executing testing) and ensure system are up to date to with ALM upgrades/patches.RequirementsExperience (3+ years) at an enterprise-level with strong domain expertise in Application Lifecycle Management (Requirements, Risk, and Test Management).Expertise in requirements gathering, writing software requirements, process modeling, and data mapping. Must have experience with enterprise analysis including development of solutions (including configurations) proposals and creation of business cases.Strong ability to present ideas and information in group settings. Has the ability to persuade, negotiate, and facilitate conflict resolution. Can guide and influence project stakeholders and build consensus.Strategic thinker who skillfully applies a critical and analytical approach.Experience with business process improvement techniques and methodologies.Exceptional analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.Demonstrated experience successfully defining and documenting projects that drive positive results.Demonstrated experience in requirement management, testing and test planning requirement in FDA regulated environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills that non-technical end users can understand.Knowledge of the full software development life cycle using Agile/Scrum Methodology.Experience with Application Lifecycle Toolset (Jira, Jama, Polarion, Valgenesis, IBM Dors, etc) tool is a plus.EducationBS/BA in Business Administration/Computer Engineering or related field preferred.LI-REMOTEThe estimated base salary range for the Business Analyst, ALM - Validation Management role based in the United States of America is: $79,300 - $118,900. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable salary range may be updated accordingly. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, location where the role is to be performed, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
