The Sr. Tax Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all tax laws and regulations and identifying tax savings opportunities. In addition to core tax compliance and reporting responsibilities, this role will also require expertise in ancillary obligations, and indirect, corporate, and other non-tax obligations.*Please submit English version of resume/CVResponsibilities:Analyze and interpret tax legislation and regulations in Brazil to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.Liaise with external BPO consulting companies in other countries to ensure accurate and timely tax compliance.Assist with tax audits, inquiries, and responses to tax authorities in Latin America. Liaise with them as needed.Review and file tax returns, including corporate income tax, value-added tax (VAT), and other tax filings as required.Provide support to finance and accounting teams in tax-related matters, including preparation of tax provisions and estimates. This includes accounting for ancillary obligations and ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.Perform tax research to identify tax savings opportunities and recommend tax planning strategies to management. This includes accounting for obligations and ensuring proper documentation and record keeping.Monitor tax changes in Brazil and provide updates to the organization on any potential impact on the company's tax position.Ensure compliance with ancillary obligations, including social security contributions, labor obligations, and other non-tax obligations.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate tax compliance and reporting.Assist in the implementation of tax software and systems as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldAt least 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a primary focus on Brazilian tax laws and regulations, including ancillary obligations.Strong knowledge of Brazilian tax regulations, tax planning strategies, and tax compliance requirements, including ancillary obligationsExperience with tax software and systems, such as SAP, Oracle, and MastersafExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsFluency in Portuguese and English.
