The current team of inside sales professionals are responsible for net new business growth in the Small to Mid-Enterprise sectors throughout the region and Enterprise Accounts in Eastern Europe.We are looking for a dynamic leader to manage and motivate the existing team; This person will be responsible for driving net new revenue growth, working closely with channel partners and business development teams to build and close pipeline. When required, this leader will provide executive customer facing support in region, driving deals alongside the team and will be experienced in mobilising channel partners to accelerate scale and growth. Your day-to-dayLead and support a high performing team of New Business Account Managers focused developing the ACH EE marketCreate and develop a joined up and targeted Commercial strategy.Mentor, train, manage and develop members of the Commercial Sales Team.Motivate the team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth through a positive, high-touch, channel engaged, customer experienceBe an active member of the EMEA Commercial Leadership Team.Connect Account Managers to key resources and clear roadblocks, enabling them to achieve and/or exceed their revenue goalsWork with stakeholders in region and in EMEA to align business and drive towards greater mutual growth.Travel into region on a regular basis to meet with stakeholders, Channel partners, customers and prospectsDeveloping sales strategies to penetrate new accounts, particularly accounts up to 2500 user accountsMaintain a positive culture that inspires performance and achievementInstil and maintain a quality and integrity-based sales process with respect to customer interactionsActively engage, attract and secure top talentProvide training and ongoing coaching and development to Account Managers, as well as performance managementDevelop and execute a thorough business plan, including planning for both current and future quarter successPrepare and present team forecast to executive managementMaintain internal partnerships with various business units including Sales Engineering and MarketingBecome a perpetual student of Proofpoint products, and the ever-changing Cyber Security industryWhat You Bring To The TeamProven leadership experience, with a focus on training, coaching and motivationDirect experience of leading high performing inside sales or field sales teamsMust have prior quota carrying sales experience, preferably in security or IT related technologyHigh level of humility, honesty and integrity with a strong work ethicExpert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closingExperience in solution sales environment, and ideally training/experience in a specific sales methodology such as Customer Centric Selling, the Challenger Sale, SPIN, MEDDIC.Ability to provide situational coaching and advice and help guide deals to closureBackground selling Security or SaaS products is a plusExperience working with Salesforce.com or similarFluent English and an Eastern European language skills, German is a plus.Why ProofpointProtecting people is at the heart of our award-winning lineup of cybersecurity solutions, and the people who work here are the key to our success.
