Contract Senior Financial Accountant (3 months)

We are a multi-national company with locations in 18 countries, with each location contributing to Proofpoint’s amazing culture.This individual will be an integral part of the international accounting team with focus in European countries.  This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand.Responsible for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures, including account reconciliations and roll-forward schedulesPrepare journal entries based on review of supporting reconciliations and schedulesGeneral Ledger responsibilities including, but not limited to monthly Management reporting packages, Accounting for International Subs, Accruals, and other areasAssist in preparing monthly balance sheet and income statement flux variance analyses for management reportingCoordinate with HR and local outsourcing firms to process international payroll, review monthly payroll reportsSupport in the procure to pay processSupport in annual subs audits where applicableSupport team in finance SOX compliance activitiesAssist in process improvement projects, including coordination with cross-functional teamsDeliver on any ad-hoc projects as necessaryIf you like wild growth and working with happy, enthusiastic over-achievers, you'll enjoy your career with us!
