It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The Director of Managed Services for our Security Awareness platform will be a key leader in Proofpoint’s Managed Services team, leading an organization of more than 40 staff in growing and delivering one of our key managed services to customers. The focus will be on any services that are sold exclusively related to Proofpoint Security Awareness Training (PSAT) product.This leader will be responsible for continuing to grow the Managed Services PSAT (mPSAT) recurring revenues, managing service delivery, overall operations, services transformation, and program/project management for these services including product conceptualization; service delivery and operations, sales support / NARR growth, and churn prevention / customer satisfaction.This position will be a key agent for driving the maturity of Cybersecurity Services offered to our customers.WHAT YOU’LL DO:Develop and lead the implementation of the strategic direction of Managed Services PSATOversee services delivery and operations of the services teams to ensure that they are following best practices and are on track to deliver the expected results to customersLead engagement efforts with product teams and customers working closely with internal and external stakeholdersManage the Services business aspects including developing budgets, establishing pricing, and tracking revenue and expensesContinuously evaluate market conditions to adjust services as well as pricing modelsCoordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Support, Sales, and other organizations as appropriate to ensure coordination, process definition, and effective and timely support for servicesTrack and report on services performance to internal and external stakeholdersIdentify and manage risks and ensure that risk mitigation steps are taken in a timely mannerThe PersonThe ideal candidate must have a proven track record of establishing, growing, and transforming current managed services into a high operating and growth service aligned to software products. This individual possesses strong analytical depth and a track record of being a driver who takes initiative to achieve goals. Success in this position will be measured by developing strategic direction, build offerings, develop pricing, and align operations with industry best practice frameworks.WHAT YOU’LL NEED:12+ years' experience in business, technical and/or services management5+ years' senior leadership experience in management function spanning multiple company-wide technology programs and including P&L responsibilitySignificant client-facing experience and excellent communication skillsExperience developing processes and procedures to drive services management maturityExperience developing and managing departmental budgets and product pricing as well as demonstrated strong financial acumenSolid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-taskA foundation in consulting is a strong plusMust be authorized to work in the United StatesEducationA Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a related discipline preferred or relevant work experience is required; an MBA is preferred.Why ProofpointAs a customer focused and driven-to-win organization with leading edge products, there are many exciting reasons to join the Proofpoint team.
