You’ll be tasked with developing existing relationships and acquiring new logo business within Federal Government departments in Belgium.  Leading appropriate internal teams to generate and deliver winning contract proposals, compelling RFI/RFP Responses, and SOWs. You will be adept at negotiating terms of business with clients to achieve winning results for both parties that provide the basis for successful ongoing relationships.Your day-to-dayBuild business relationships at the executive level, coordinate multiple resources while consistently closing business in assigned territory. Articulate and promote the company’s value proposition and services to become a trusted advisor within your customer baseWork with internal resources, including aligned System Engineers to prepare account strategies Collaborate with Systems Engineers to organise and deliver compelling and flawless product demonstrationsPartner with the channel to gain access into new accountsDeliver strong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, SFDC pipeline development, Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Proofpoint’s competitive positioning in the marketplaceWhat you bring to the teamYou will need to demonstrate examples of envisaging, building and accelerating new propositions in the Central Government Sector and a solid understanding and network within Federal Government and appreciation of key market trendProven experience of developing C-Level/Decision making relationships, and familiarity of Government IT CXO hierarchy.Familiarity and experience working with Government purchasing frameworks and tendering process.Experienced technology sales professional, with a particular focus on SaaS and disruptive technologies. Experience of Cyber Security is a plusProven track record of over-achieving targets, net new logo achievements and capacity to leverage channel partnershipsExperience of closing complex opportunities in the range of $100k – $1mProficient user of formal sales training methodologies e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger, TAS, Command of the Message.Willingness and aptitude to be coached, and diligence to follow a proven sales processEntrepreneurial self-starter with a consistent focus on account planning, pipeline generation and opportunity progression. You’re strategic in approach, but always act with urgency.
