DevOps Summer Intern - Undergrad

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.The Role:The Proofpoint Security and Training (PSAT) DevOps team is responsible for managing the build/deploy process of our various offerings while ensuring uptime of all services. We are looking for a motivated DevOps engineering intern to join our PSAT DevOps Team. As a DevOps Summer Intern, you will be working with AWS services such as RDS, EC2, Kubernetes, security groups, etc. EC2 environments include both Linux and Windows.  You will be working with a team of DevOps engineers assisting them with improving our build and deploy process, refining and improving monitoring and alerting, and performing general maintenance of existing AWS accounts. You will likely work with engineering teams to assist them in moving their projects into our CI/CD process, as necessary.     Job Requirements:Experience with AWS servicesKnowledge of Linux administrationKnowledge of tools such ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins      Experience applying updates and system changes to Linux environmentsExperience analyzing SQL commands to determine optimization recommendations or debugging of performance issues.Experience working in a group environmentCandidate Profile:You have the ability and interest in working full time (a maximum of 40 hours/week) in our Pittsburgh office or remotely. You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree and are successfully maintaining an above average GPA.
