The Opportunity The Japan Digital Media Strategic Development manager is responsible for identifying, developing, incubating and activating strategies for growing and scaling market penetration of strategic product categories within Document Cloud, through deep and meaningful engagements with Adobe's strategic customers and partners.We have an opportunity for someone to join this team to develop and activate our partnerships with the leading system integrators and ISVs in Japan, focused on supporting Adobe's Document Cloud GTM. In this role, you will drive the strategy, development and activation of initiatives to build successful partner businesses, integrations and scaled ecosystem plays.What you’ll doDevelop and activate SI and ISV partnerships in Japan that generate pipeline and co-sell opportunitiesEvangelize partnership opportunities and secure the buy-in of field, product and marketing leadersIdentify and develop demand generation opportunities with the support of marketingEvangelize the business benefits of Adobe technology to transform business processes by digitizing and automating document workflows and experiencesIdentify mutually beneficial, scalable and high growth business opportunities within the partner ecosystemBuild business cases, articulate market positioning, define solutions and user experiences, architect business arrangements and execute joint GTMs working with a cross functional team of product marketing, product management and business development teams both within the partner and AdobeOperationalize strategic partner development plans, and construct measurable business metrics and success criteriaDevelop and support customer opportunities in collaboration with partners and extended team membersThis is a strategic, high visibility, high impact role. You will engage with C-Level and VP level partners and will be driving the progress and success of these partnership initiativesPromote initiatives such as management, support, and review of participating companies in the SI Partner Program.What you need to succeedPrior business development and/or partner sales experience is a must. Experience working with regulated industriesAble to drive consensus from collaborators and gain alignment with both internal and partner stakeholdersMust be entrepreneurial, spot opportunities, make business cases, understand partner solution economics, drive virtual teams and engage with senior customer and Adobe leadersAnalytical business skills to determine value in new business opportunities and present solutions to complex problemsExcellent communications (written + oral communications), analytical and quantitative skillsExperienced in digital document workflow and digital signature technologies a plus5+ years of experience in the business development and product marketingBachelors/Masters Degree, or equivalent practical experienceJapanese fluency is required, English communication skills are preferred.Strong interpersonal skills – you have developed strong, lasting relationships with multiple stakeholders, partners and customers.Strategic thinker with strong analytical business skills.
