We're seeking someone equally passionate about communicating inspiring, useful human insights as they are about discovering them. This person should be a research renegade and skilled storyteller energized by shaping influential brand strategies, growth strategies, and marketing plans. This individual is responsible for providing insights into the consumer, competition, and marketplace in partnership with cross-functional teams and translating insights into useful brand, marketing communications, and innovation initiatives that drive Adobe’s brand and business. If you're that person and are ready to deliver high-value, data-backed insights across strategic projects (e.g., marketing effectiveness, brand tracking, social brand health, creative strategy & execution, portfolio positioning), we encourage you to read on… What You’ll DoCoach and lead a team focused on providing a cohesive view of the health and effectiveness of Adobe’s brands across categories, audiences, and channels owned and earnedDefine team objectives, approach, and critical metrics to ensure the work of the team is on strategy, helping to build the brand alongside our collaborators across the organization.Bring fresh, creative thinking to building out an innovative brand measurement practice that directly connects brand health to business metrics and marketing performance.Deliver in-depth analysis specific to unlocking brand relevance and preference with consumers, creators, small businesses, and Enterprise customers & prospects.Provide an integrated view across numerous data sources to deliver insight and direction related to the category, brand, and audience to create a 360 view.Own and lead relationships with market research agencies to ensure innovative approaches and agile thinking in driving meaningful research projects forward.Inspire the team/partners to be proactive, bringing the latest thinking to Adobe in order for Brand Marketing to be seen as a leader with a point of view, thinking more broadly than one source of information.Build a culture of consumer curiosity and understanding, insight generation, analytical thinking, and compelling, data-backed storytelling.Champion and socialize learning broadly throughout the organization to extend consumer understanding well beyond the immediate team (e.g., marketing, product, product marketing, corporate strategy, etc.).Attract, assess, retain, and develop talent by creating an environment that provides direction, continuous learning and development, and commitment to common vision.What You’ll Need to SucceedBachelor’s degree in market research, business, marketing or similar (MBA an advantage).Minimum of 10+ years innovative leadership experience in consumer insights, research, strategy, planning or consulting (some supplier side research experience preferred).Passion and energy for building, leading, and inspiring a team and for working collaboratively to influence collaborators and decision making at all levels of the organization.Strong interest in the technology industry (experience within industry considered an advantage). Significant experience with executive communications, presentations, and inspiring change through influence and reason.Excellence in leading high-visibility work in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment.Strong business problem solving abilities, identifying, defining, and answering the right questions to impact business decisions.High level of professional maturity and executive presence.Superior written / verbal communication and presentation skills.Adobe is an equal opportunity employer. The U.S. pay range for this position is $131,400 -- $257,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
