We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours! Position SummaryWorking within Adobe Consulting the AEM snr consultant will work directly with our customers to initiate and manage their Digital Assets management system and implementations using the Adobe’s Experience Cloud solutions working primarily with Adobe Experience Manager and Analytics product lines. Working at multiple levels with the customer and their systems integrator partners, you will evaluate the proposed solution, assess risks, confirm requirements, document integration points, and manage resource requirements. You will oversee delivery and acceptance of the project from project initiation through planning, executing, monitoring to closing.What you’ll doThe role will carry a billable utilization goalbe responsible for working directly with customers and prospects to match business problems to technology, providing technical skills on the ground with customers and alongside partners as well as evangelizing the value of Adobe’s vast array of technologies.Ensure effective use of the Adobe Consulting Methodology processes and procedures.project scoping activities to identify, gather and analyze requirements and from them define key business drivers and define an effective solution.Management of the project estimation process.Management of project risks, issues, actions and decisions.Management of commercials including forecasting, time management and invoicing.To architect, design and develop (through Team) solution for product/project & sustenance delivery.Hands-on and Implement the solutions along with a high technically focused team to provide technical expertise in the Design and planning of solutions.Build solutions on top of the Adobe AEM modulesTransfers and insures business requirements into technical specs and provides technical implementation solution and recommendationsCreate and integrate content-driven applications on top of AEMDefine implementation processes, and best practicesHandle the Demos and POCs for clients. • Provide technical guidance to team and mentor the technical focused team.Hands-on contribution as part of the team and lead the day-to-day technical activities bringing in excellence in implementation.Work closely with clients, developers, system administrators and BA’s to build Adobe AEM- WCM solutions.Requirements Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or similar discipline.10+ years’ experience as a consultant, preferably delivering large enterprise-based Content Management and Digital Marketing solutions from a vendor perspective.Experience in working with highly scalable customer facing web applications and web content management systemsFamiliarity with software development processes and tools (e.g. Maven, Eclipse/IntelliJ, Jenkins/Hudson, GIT), and agile development methodologies (SCRUM)Deep understanding of Java, Java EE, Servlets, JSP, Tag libraries, and JSTL skills, combined with a strong understanding of Enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring and HibernateDeep understanding in Java, web development experience, other Content Management system experienceExpertise with core web technologies including XML, XHTML, Client Server-Side Scripting languages such as JavaScript, and JSP, and web services development using RESTful implementationsApplication development, distributed application development and Internet/Intranet based database applicationsExperience in working with global teams across different geographiesExperience in effective internal and external stakeholder engagement and management A professional project management qualification, e.g. PRINCE2, PMI.Experience in delivering projects using an agile methodology, e.g. SCRUM.Experience preferable in using project delivery tools such as JIRA, Rally, etc.Experience in using Microsoft Project and Excel to manage project delivery.Strong communication skills (verbal, written and presentation) to all levels within an organization.Strategic thinker, that is able to relate the day to day details with broader business objectives.Proven written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions with executive-level audiences.Ability to work with virtual internal team to lead discovery and to deliver findings and recommendations at an Executive level.
