We realize that new ideas can come from everywhere in the organization, and we know the next big idea could be yours!The Opportunity This role brings the opportunity to lead various strategic programs under Adobe’s company-wide software optimization initiatives and handle associated vendor management programs for Adobe Technology Services (ATS). The candidate will advocate for and implement new processes to provide efficiency, innovation, and speed for the ATS team. You will also focus on spend and utilization data analysis and strategy formulation to lead contract renewals, report on important metrics, and drive continuous improvements.The successful candidate will drive preferred vendor utilization strategies and must have the capability to develop and maintain positive relationships with Procurement, preferred vendors, and other partners with an end goal of reducing the total cost of ownership, improving customer experience, and ensuring compliance. The ability to become a trusted advisor for ATS on vendor management policies, and a validated data-driven approach to identify patterns and opportunities to support strategic direction, will be required.What you will Do:VMO:Collect, analyze, spend, and use data to draw critical conclusions related to contract renewals, new engagements, and key projects.Partner with Global Procurement, Software Asset Management (SAM), Finance, Office of the CIO, and various teams within and outside ATS to Develop, implement and document standards and facilitate compliance.Work with business owners to develop appropriate Scope of Work that accurately reflect business needs, with measurable results, governance, and service levels.Validate invoices, and true-ups including service credits, earn-backs, etc.Perform both ad-hoc and period reporting on key wins and metrics.Evaluate vendor performance, handle day-to-day relationships proactively, and coordinate regular vendor reviews.Lead special projects around vendor and TCO optimization and process compliance.Own and drive preferred supplier utilization where possible.Drive continuous improvement to deliver exceptional end-user experience and simplify processes using automation where possible.Develop an understanding of the overall technology vendors’ landscape to provide intelligent industry analysis as needed.Embed Audit Control and SAM processes into proactive Vendor Management.Preferred Supplier Program (PSP): Vendor and Supplier GovernanceWeekly and monthly meetingSupplier Business Reviews (SBRs)Resource Data ManagementGenerate reports and DashboardsCreating Requisitions into the PSP PortalPartnering with Procurement on Contract and Rate Card Negotiations for ProfessionalSupport RFP for any new and potential PSP or Professional Services vendorsWork with Adobe internal hiring managers and external vendorsComplete vendor resource hiring cycle.What you need to succeed 6-8 years of hands-on experience with vendor management activities, i.e., working with suppliers, MSAs, SOWs, invoices, etc.Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Business, or a related field.Excellent written and presentation skills (including experience with related IT tools).Ability to multi-task, organize, and be proactive in meeting/exceeding customer expectations.A great teammate with and ability to work seamlessly with IT leaders, suppliers, Procurement, SAM team, and Finance.Strong quantitative and analytical skills with experience in data mining and sophisticated analysis using multiple data sets and Power BI.Validated project management and process improvement skills.Certified working experience on enterprise P2P tools like Ariba & Coupa and exposure to contract management and IT Procurement principles is a plus.We will ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable accommodation to participate in the job application or interview process, perform critical job functions, and receive other benefits and privileges of employment. The U.S. pay range for this position is $118,500 -- $212,700 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
